University of Health Sciences Convenes Postgraduate Admissions Board Meeting for the First Session of 2025

On the afternoon of 7th June 2025, the University of Health Sciences convened a meeting of the Postgraduate Admissions Board for the first session of 2025 to review organisational procedures and disseminate examination regulations at the University of Technology (Campus 1) examination centre. The examination is scheduled to take place over two days, 7th-8th June 2025.

The meeting was attended by Prof. PhD. Phan Bách Thắng, President and Chairman of the Admissions Board; MBA. Nguyễn Hoàng Dũng, Vice President and Vice-Chairman of the Board, Head of the Examination Supervision Committee; Assoc.Prof. PhD. MD. Phạm Anh Vũ Thụy, Head of the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, Deputy Head of the Examination Supervision Committee; PhD. Pharm. Nguyễn Thị Hà, Head of the Academic Affairs Office and Head of the Secretariat Committee, alongside academic staff serving as examination invigilators, supervisory personnel, and security officers.

Prof. PhD. Phan Bách Thắng emphasised that “Postgraduate training constitutes one of the university’s core responsibilities, and entrance examinations therefore play a crucial role and must be conducted with rigour, seriousness, and under the most favourable conditions for candidates.”

Regarding examination supervision arrangements, MBA. Nguyễn Hoàng Dũng noted: “This marks the third year the university has organised this examination. It is also the first year that the university’s specialist medical programme will produce graduates. Overall, all examinations have proceeded safely and in accordance with regulations and procedures. The examination organisation has been thoroughly prepared and executed according to schedule.”

Following the meeting, examination staff proceeded to brief all candidates directly on examination regulations whilst addressing candidate enquiries, ensuring that the official examination day (8th June) would proceed safely and with due propriety.

It is understood that the postgraduate entrance examination (first session) attracted 266 registered candidates across five specialisations: Internal Medicine, Surgery (General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery), Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, and Otolaryngology. On 8th June, candidates will sit foundation papers in the morning session and specialist papers in the afternoon session.
